Notice anything special...?

Its more than 30 years since I last looked at turntables. FWIW Cannot see the needle very well (is there even a needle?) and the left front of the cover has a strange reflection on the side, is one of those that what you are alluding to?

Anyway I do not like websites where I cannot see feedback to see how past sales were.

An odd advert. I always liked to look of these and with the passage of time, they look even better. Don't know about their sound quality, but there's something rather unexpected about this particular one, don't you think?

Indeed, you will need one of these for its preservation...

Looks good! I wouldn't expect the Decca to be working at the price.

However, according to the description:-

"Philips Electronic 312 Servo Belt-Drive Turntable. Serviced!
This unit had been completely professional serviced with new Belt, Cleaned from the inside out, re-adjusted mechanism, deoxidized all buttons and contacts. The Cartridge is in nice shape. This turntable is in serviced- excellent condition! No damage on the unit itself, Looks clean from start to finish. No crack on the dust cover. The wooden case is in perfect shape Fully functional as it should be, works perfectly without any issue - decent looks and in perfect shape."

Were you were suggesting that I buy it?
Sadly, I made the decision to leave Toronto in 1987, and although I would like to try a Decca cartridge on one of my t'tables, given the combination of my advanced years and rapidly diminishing income, I think that it's now highly unlikely :(

Yup. It's the Decca that caught my eye, given their current price - for example...

Decca Golds have always looked like cheap junk but I had one on a Thorens years ago and it sounded terrific.
And this local shop is quite legit.
Makes me wonder. I may stop by today and take a good look. And it may sound swell with the Tannoy Cheviots pictured at left.
