A Passion For Angling.
Perhaps the greatest piece of fishing filming ever, and narrated by Bernard.
Still a joy to watch to this day.
Had the honour of being asked if he could sit with us at a dinner table at a special event in honour of the angler Peter Stone.
Someone asked a question just as dinner was served.
I do not think a word was uttered by anyone round the table for nearly an hour, just listening to him tell stories, and us trying our best to eat while laughing non stop.
Such a complete, gentle guy.
Will never forget that day.

Moderately extreme...
I loved his songs in my early teens and loved all of his acting roles. Versatile, very accomplished and by all accounts a decent chap too.
