Tame bright speakers

I also have a DSpeaker. It automatically removed a room mode of 75Hz for me. Well worth it.

Just toe the speakers out slightly so that the tweeters aren’t directly facing you.

Bright or simply harsh or shrill?

Bright means the frequency curve upticks at the higher frequencies.

In reality you are hearing noise distorting the sound from about 4 KHz upwards.

Using shielded power leads may help.

With the Rega kit I'd suggest go full Rega, not bright at all, maybe a bit dry.
Just add speakers and cables.
Probably working better closer to rear wall than Epos.

Steve maybe is right , maybe not bright but sometimes a bit harsh.

Impressive in the shop perhaps but tiring over the long term.
My mistake the measurements are for the M5 , try and find some measurements for the M15.

My Epos M15 are a bit bright. Here is the problem: with the Rega Cd player/amplifier the sound turns brightThe qed XT speaker cable doesn´t help, because is detailed and forwardThe Supra 4.0 fixed the bright issue, but the sound lose resolution and definition. So what can I do? Change the speakers seems to me the way to go
BTW, the room may have sound issues,because is small,maybe heve echoes, I don´t know , I can´t install the system in another room.

If the speaker cable has silver plated copper strands it will be bright. Original QED 79 strand is a good cable.
I think this is exacerbating the main issue which seems to be the Rega CDP versus a Rega TT. Try another CDP. Maybe an Arcam, as they tend to sound more laidback.

Your room has sound issues, they all do, without seeing how your system is set up, it will be hard to help.
Expos M15 are good speakers, well placed within the room and you setting at the right spot, they should sound spectacular.
