Sounds very much of its time, though has aged pretty well. Not unlike this oldie on Tectonic...

Just got to the tectonic bass on ‘Enforcers’.

First issued in France in 1952 as 'L'inimitable Don Byas Et Ses Rythmes Présente Les Plus Célèbres Mélodies Américaines'. Then in the US as 'L'Inimitable Don Byas Et Ses Rythmes' before finally in the UK as plain old 'Don Byas And His Rhythm'.
