Your top 10 Artists (ranked by # items in your collection)

Album-wise I have 200 favourites (somewhat dynamic) and I'm either listening to them, or otherwise discovery (treating as another topic listening to my song playlists on streaming). From these 200, only 7 artists appear with more than one album.

U2 (4)
Beatles (2)
Fleetwood Mac (2)
Mercury Rev (2)
Muse (2)
Neil Young (2)
REM (2)

I'm surprised myself about which artists these are, since 100 of these 200 are year 2005 onward, with the biggest decade the 2010s. Huh.

You are indeed! I was keen to know more about people's real collections.
I share this sentiment but it’s ignoring streaming where, if you are organised you could come up with perfectly legitimate lists based on playing times over quite a few years now.

at my ripe age I need the physical object to remember I like it:)

Interesting! The Discogs app makes this nice and easy for me …

MF DOOM
Laura Marling
Mad Professor
Bon Iver
Husky Rescue
James Blake
Four Tet
Tony Allen
James Yorkston

I’ve just realised that I’ve failed to enter any Sufjan Stevens on Discogs! 9 records, so in above bon Iver. Sorry William, you’re demoted :)

All physical as in Vinyl LP and if no LP then a CD sub or both if LP later released

We share some tastes here (The National, Karine Polwart and Laura Veirs especially), but I only have the standard albums, none of the extended, rare, singles etc. nonsense of my primary selections :D
No, nor me, don't even like buying EP's either
