Would now be a good time for some of the previously invaded territories to kick off and regain independence?

Do they even have resistance movements?

Sounds as if there might be some fires to deal with in the countryside this summer too.

Busy times ahead for Vlad maybe.

If it is as bad as set out in that thread that is very worrying. The devastation and deaths will continue apace. Hope there is a bigger picture that is getting closer. I can't see how the Germans can avoid the decision indefinitely and wonder if there is an ongoing scramble to secure enough supplies to make it a choice quickly.

No matter what choice is made I can't see Russia pulling back.

They even do not have Armata tank today in Ukraine
Kinzhal rocket was used only once, I think
Moskva sunk most likely because most of crew was conscripts who did not know what to do in extreme situation
It is too early be afraid of new missile.

It's just another modern ICBM, probably with a fast boost, suborbital countermeasures and terminal evasive maneuvers.

With a 1000 warheads per side, this doesn't really change the MAD equation. A recent Chinese study that showed you need a really serious shelter depth to survive modern nuclear attack is actually important. It showed that Russian fancy "elite city shelters" aren't nearly deep enough.

German minister Baerbock today said they do not have anymore weapons for Ukraine in warehouses. She said they would support anybody who has left more Soviet weapons to give them to Ukraine and Germany will help with replacement later.

Russians can just go to middle of Siberia, they even do not need bunker there. Question, what they will do after that, no enemies, no friends, no anything.

The nuclear only real option is to end the world. No matter how tricky anyone gets their nukes there are too many, particularly below the waves to have victory that means anything. Hopefully DZ’s post today will get them putting everything on hold until deeper bunkers can be built to save those that kick it all off. Fancy saving BJ instead of me!
