Played this earlier today but it's shot.I really need a new copy of this...Original Harvest first pressing but it's really worn out.. still love this record though. Especially that deep synth sound and the utterly effortless but powerful and well tuned drumming

He's an English musician, moved to the USA years ago - blues/country (touch of reggae at times). Highly rated singer/songwriter, supported Mark Knopfler on tours.
I think I first heard him on the, late lamented, Terry Wogan morning show.
