This was my system in 2013. I swear it took me 9 years to get back to this level of fun. 82/250/hicap/VPI Aries/BenzRubyH/PASSLabs Alephono/some digital stuff, stock naim cables. I was addicted to the increased resolution, hearing new details on my favorite albums. I didn't realize my engagement was waning. Highly recommended system, for my steady diet of Rock/metal/jazz it was killer. The bass on the olive 250 is so captivating as is the presentation of the drums. I finally have that without the overhang. The 52/500dr start and stop on a dime. If I had a 5-10k total budget I'd go back.

Since February of 2020 my family and my lives have been in danger repeatedly as an essential front line worker. I took more abuse and stress than I thought I could take and I did residency before the Libby Zion laws. Records with my daughter were probable the best part of my day, a side or two before putting her to bed, each night when I wasn't at work. I talked to my wife, and let's say I went for it. I found a used Ypsilon VPS100 phono pre. Always loved a tube phono stage with the Naim sound. The PRAT and engagement with the big fat 3d images only the best tubes throw. I also upgraded my 300dr to a 500dr, still love my 52. I also added Music cable throughout, piece by piece over the last 2 years when they came up used. Still waiting for the 52 Burndy to arrive, the WH Morgana is nice upgrade as well. This year I just added the Isoacoustic Gaia feet to my speakers, and my turntable. A very impressive upgrade. In both cases I think they detract a bit from the aesthetic, but they really improve the sound. I was listening to a Rasputin/Bobbin Hunky Dory last night, the clapping at the end of Andy Warhol was startling and I've listened hundreds of times. Ok here are some pics. I included one of my daughter staring intently at a gatefold for 20 minutes while the music played, a few questions or a lot, depending on the mood. "who's talking daddy, is that George singing, is that John, why isn't Ringo smiling". She is really digging Get back and the Let it be box. Sharing this hobby with a 3 year old is something I never imagined. It's a wonderful surprise.

There is a Cary Streamer as well, thats an Ypsilon SUT next to the 52. Running a Koestu Rosewood signature platinum cart that I switch with a DVxv1T when they get retipped. Vivid Giya 3 speakers. The system sounds great and is so resolving, that I am hearing some weakness in pressings I thought were my last purchase. The only downside thus far to the upgrades.

How do the Vivid Giya 3 work in your space ?

I haven’t posted a system pic here for a couple of years so it’s time for an update.

Our present system is a Naim NDX2 as a digital source/hub into a Devialet 220 Pro with Kudos Titan 606 speakers. Source is a Roon Nucleus serving local ripped CDs and Qobuz. Isoblue racks, Naim PowerLines, Dedicated mains and Kudos KS-1 speaker cable complete the picture.

The Titans were an unplanned addition last year. I’d been looking out for a pair for a while and when some came up on here I snapped them up. They really are superb end game speakers and the whole system gives us a lot of enjoyment, whether playing music or for TV sound duties.

What a lovely post :)

@coupe-sport as the Devialet is roonready and you have a Nucleus, what's the NDX2 doing in the system?
Indeed, I could just use the Devialet directly (which was the original setup when I moved over to Roon) , but I prefer the sound via the S/PDIF input fed from the NDX2 to the Devialet on its own.

BTW, good choice with the D&Ds. Heard these a couple of years back along with the Kii3. Fantastic speakers and even better now that they are fully Roon ready

Bespoke energiser for Stax headphones
ARC CD9 feeding top shelf balanced

There’s a vinyl setup to the right getting little use, and a pair of Magico V2’s either side.

Here is mine.

It’s a Rega Planar 10 with Apheta 3 and Aria 3, a Naim NAT 02 tuner and NDX2 streamer, a Supernait 3, and ProAc Tablette 10 Signature speakers on Something Solid stands.
Lovely set up. Looks like a decent size room. How do the little Tablettes cope with the space?

The room is 3.6m wide and 4.5m long, so medium sized I suppose. The speakers are fine at the sensible volumes we listen at. They benefit from having a relatively powerful amplifier of course and give a surprisingly full bodied sound.

I am thrilled with them. I was lucky to pick them up from Shunyata, who were using them for product development, so I knew they were well treated. They give me pretty much everything I want in a speaker. Thump you in the chest bass, without rattling the walls and windows, a challenge in a 11.5*13.5*8ft room. The perspectives got boomy, had the Revel Gems as well which are stellar and a bargain used, they also lacked the power and dynamics the Vivids can supply. Other than wondering if I could have shoehorned the G2's in here, the G3's are probably my best hifi purchase. No fatigue at all. I listen for hours and hours.

Did the darTZeel replace an Arc amp 9and if so why)?
What is the rack?

Hi, it is my system. I mainly play music files in my NAS to Raspberry Pi with Allo DigiOne, attached to Chord Qutest DAC. Amp combo is Luxman CL38u and MQ88u upgraded NOS tubes, driving a pair of Sonus Faber Luito Monitor. All interconnect RCA and speaker cables are EWA IC/LS-25, while Power I use Ansuz, XLO, WireWorld and Puritan PSM136.

Hunting for a R2R DAC in 2022. Owned Metrum Musette and heard Soekris DIY DAC, love the analog sound. :)

Tried adding photo but no luck.:(
