Mini dsp with multiple subs

rev

Good Evening,
Just wondering if any one has experience with mini dap and multiple subs to get a smooth bass response for stereo listening?
If do any info about your experiences would be great.

Thanks Iain.

I use a Mini DSP plate amp to power 2 x 12" subs.

Works great with full control from my laptop via ethernet.

Though to be honest my Quad ESL's go down to around 30/35 Hz. so the subs only kick in with synth bass.

Thanks Guys,
Have you measured the room to enable the eq and time alignment?
If so is easy?
Thanks Again

Start with one, get that properly integrated, measure, correct any bass peaks it will sound good I guarantee and then go from there if you think it worthwhile.

That’s good to hear!
Am going to start with mini dap 2-4.
The only thing is is that I have stereo out puts on the amp and subs is that compatible with the dap?
Thanks

Great !
Are the any professional people who calibrate peoples systems in this way for a living?

Ah that’s good your about 200 miles from me .
Is it something than can be done over zoom?
Excuse my ignorance I’m not particularly techy.
Also will it give not necessarily deep bass but tight clear bass?

It can certainly be done remotely. I normally use some remote control software and a telephone, but Zoom, FaceTime, Skype etc could replace the telephone in this mix.

You can use multiple subwoofers to produce louder, deeper or more even bass, or any combination of those qualities.
