No Time to Die, Yet?

I don't know. I lost track of Bonds after Roger Moore, and of Doctor Whos after Tom Baker. Doctor Who is obviously more believable than James Bond, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was actually no limit on the number of Bonds.

Back in the fifties when he was shooting Ivanhoe at Beaconsfield Film Studios he used to go into the hardware, radio and TV shop where my Dad was working - apparently he came over as a complete a**hole.

My wife's cousin knew him when they both modelled knitwear in the early '50s. He didn't have anything bad to say about Roger Moore, but had plenty of scurrilous gossip about other famous people which I won't repeat for obvious libel reasons.

That surprises me. I always think of him as not taking himself too seriously. Assholes tend to have an inflated view of their own importance, which is the antithesis of that.

Disappointed. DC is the best Bond, but throughout this film he's scripted to play as if he knows he's heading for the exit. The final "pose" at the end was just silly (but still a bit stirring). References to old Bond films abound.

Fairly decent film although sadly they lost the flippant cockiness of Roger Moore a long time ago. I suppose they can't do the sexist stuff nowadays.

I just wish they would allow the odd baddie to have bullets that go where the gun is pointed!
They clearly haven't had "3 weeks of training".

I very much enjoyed the Louis Armstrong, We have all the time in the world song in it. Reminded me of my grandfather who is long gone as I used to play his CD when I was little.

Also, Buju Banton, Champion song when Bond walks into the club. I was literally playing BB's album on the way to the cinema.

Louis Armstrong song features in this film? If so I will mention it to my daughter who was bored stiff touring his house with me last year;)

Enjoyed it, a bit long but the time passed quickly. Good action set pieces, as you’d expect. M’s starting to look a bit old. Ending was quite poignant, I thought. Where next?

My parents have seen the new Bond film.

My Dad summed it up as ‘boring.’

One of those rare times that I agree with him.

I have fond memories of Bond films but I think of them as children's films. I'm sure if it comes on the telly at Christmas It will be fun enough.

A brilliant film, a thrill a minute, stunts, baddies what else could you want from a Bond movie. I love the nods to previous Bonds.

Hasn't knocked Casino Royale off its pedestal as my favourite. Way better than the other DC Bond movies.
