Good looking new Thorens

Eh?

Nice, with the old Thorens-EMT style tonearm to boot. :)

Eh?
Wrong translation. What they meant was brush.

One of the best decks I ever heard was the TD124 (original) I'm wondering how much it is improved by the modern re-design.

Their retention of a similar chassis to that of the original TD124 exemplifies a distinct lack of understanding of the design principles of the real Thorens idler models.

I would suspect the cheap Matsushita MKL15 series DD motor to work as well if it were screwed directly to the knock-off Ortofon ST-104 plinth (provided there were some isolation feet beneath), possibly better.

Trigger's well maintained broom?
Could be Sweep playing 45s.
