Got any petrol or diesel?

Started our tour round the Scottish west coast islands this morning. We set off from Keswick, no problems filling up there, & no sign of queues or closures on any of the garages we passed today on our way up. Is this panic buying a southern thing?
Ofc it is..

We drove up to Darlington today, from Suffolk via Norfolk and Lincolnshire. The queues disappeared once we were north of the A17.

oh? chance to be sexist/classist/moneyist, cityist and fuelist all in one post :)
has to be done!
'How on earth can a woman afford a Cullinan, let alone drive well enough to queue jump in a petrol station'?

Oh my
Ill sleep well tonight.

No wait...A woman pulled???? Bugger
ah well

Little point in even trying to find diesel in our area (midlands) as by many social media accts - there simply is non left at stations.
When will the run on toilet rolls begin?
Apparently the firm that runs Sainsbury deliveries went into administration this morning.
should be further fun for them.

Yesterday 4pm queues outside both Tesco’s / Sainsbury’s in Helston Cornwall but the local Ford dealer, unlike the two former, is off the ring road and had just one customer filling up. Went kayaking at Penzance today. Nothing much at Morrison’s but a bit more than usual at Tesco’s/Sainsbury’s.
My wife was a district nurse in the fuel drivers strike so she got a voucher for the petrol than wasn’t in the end needed. Protest is essential to our way of life but the idiots cocking up the motorways need more than a sense of righteousness to stop the likes of Priti Patel using them like convenient idiots to bring in measures dressed up in their own clothes. Thousands of idling cars is not a rational argument but it hits the spot with those that like to get to work on time.

Looks like the clowns in power are being forced to back down - up to 5K 'Tempoary Visas' of 3-6months to be issued to 'foreign' drivers.
You really could not make this up.
Patel must be frothing at her mouths.

Never seen traffic like it in South London as we cycled out to Kent on the club ride. Everywhere was snarled up. 1/2 mile queues outside any petrol station that was still open.
Twenty Four Hour Garage People! Or That Petrol Emotion on the playlist tonight.
