A little more 997.2 porn, this is my 2011 Black edition Carrera 2
Ouch, that is nice. That'll be worth big pennies and not heard of the Black Edition so there's probably even more value in that.

Just out of curiosity, since many here seem informed of Porsche prices, what would an unrestored 1987 Carrera coupe', 220,000 km, the odd scratch, signs of wear, sunroof, full leather, be worth?
The Black edition was a run out limited edition model right at the end of the 997.2 production; as the plaque shows there were just 1911 produced and sold worldwide; it is a standard 3.6 Carrera 2 with the addition of a good selection of desirable extras such as heated seats, cruise control, Turbo II alloys and sports crono, mine has the PDK gearbox.Ouch, that is nice. Youll have to take a long look around the internet and make up your own mind rather than have us do it for you!
As an antidote to the stream of not-very-old Porsches, any excuse to repost a picture of the best-looking car ever...
.
In general, so few cars come up for sale that if you want to sell one or get a value for insurance, just go for the highest value and see what happens. I think prices here in the U.K. are still rising.I have, of course, and in Italy come up with a range of 50,000 - 70,000 Euros. But these are asking prices, and in Italy. I just thought that, since there are some on PFM who are frequently buying and selling they might have some idea of UK prices, as I said just out of curiosity, and price trends up or down, off the top of their heads. I had no wish to delegate internet donkey work.
Ah, that's a bummer. What about a well looked after Gen 1?
The Triumph Stag is indeed a very handsome car, especially in that colour, and I know folks are very fond of it so I don't want to start a fight with anybody, but I have always struggled a bit with Michelotti designs - or at least the ones he did for Triumph (Herald excepted - that is a piece of pure brilliance). There is something a bit fussy about them - lots of trim, lots of brightwork and quite "busy" contours. You can see what I mean just by looking at it alongside the Fiat 124 Coupe. The Fiat has a sort of simplicity and calmness about it. Anybody else feel this?Oh yes the Stag, very pretty car and a shame to mention it without a piccy...
There was the slightly similar Fiat 124 as well...
No. I like his designs. I like the notched back theme. The GT 6 was great looking, the bonnet was proper sports car.The Triumph Stag is indeed a very handsome car, especially in that colour, and I know folks are very fond of it so I don't want to start a fight with anybody, but I have always struggled a bit with Michelotti designs - or at least the ones he did for Triumph (Herald excepted - that is a piece of pure brilliance). I have an A5 coupe
I do like the quirky Nissan jobbies. Saw a Cube on the motorway yesterday, always had a soft spot for that, too. Not the Figaro, though. That’s a bit self-consciously retro for my taste. No love elsewhere for the S-Cargo, then?
I described it as "a Capri for the 90s" .
For some reason the Audi A5 reminds me of the Rover P5 Coupe:Except an A5 won't go off the road into a ditch at the drop of a hat.
