Very sad to hear this. I briefly met him a few years ago when he and his partner turned up at the vintage computer exhibit I volunteer on at MSI. She was really interested, he was 100% Sean Lock and very funny. RIP.

He is linked in my mind with Jeremy Hardy and Linda Smith, both died too early with cancer.

Music and comedy are passions of mine that help me to get by in daily life and, apart from Harry Hill, I genuinely cannot think of another modern British stand-up comedian who makes me laugh as much as Sean Lock did.
