Speaker switch?

I'd like to be able to switch between 2 sets of speakers.

Any suggestions for what I should do that doesn't involve swapping plugs at the back of the power amp? Are the QED switches any good?

My Chord Power amp has two sets of binding posts and two switches A and B at the front. It can run two pairs of speakers either one pair at a time or both

I just buy switchboxes from CPC/Farnell. Cheap, and easy to open up and mod if you want.

I used a QED speaker switch box years ago and didn't notice any loss of quality.
Audiolab 8000 into Epos speakers so not 'high end'

I have a QED MA17 2 way Speaker Switching Unit that you can have for £10 including UK postage. It worked fine for me but i don’t need it with my current amp.

I've used a Luxman switch for that purpose.

QED are good, Adcom are better if you can find them. I collected both for a number of years, thankfully I've now cut back to just the Adcom power amps, and stopped collecting QED gear entirely.
