Nice looking Michell Gyro

Looks like my old Gyrodeck, same model anyway in the Bronze or Export finish, I paid £1K for it with a RB300 and Roksan Chorus Black MM mounted in 1997, it was ex-display/ex-dem.

A brand spanking new SE without arm can be had for just under £1800 and with a raft of "slight seconds" Rega arms on ebay from £130 for a 220 , £280 for a 330 up to £900 for a 3000 it's maybe not such a bargain?

I just don't understand why Gyrodeks don't sell in much greater numbers than they do.

For under 2k you can get something new and good looking which will compete sonically with (if not beat) most of the used Linn offerings around that price point, and it will hold it's value fairly well.

Fascinating, I never realised linear tracking was a thing in the 78 era! The Garrard 201 is an amazing piece of engineering, I posted a YouTube restoration video I’d watched here somewhere a month or two back but I can’t find it! It’s built like a steam engine!
