I'll need to see it again but Ronaldo looked off when the ball went to Jota...if they class it as an earlier phase then fair enough but he was gaining an advantage in a foot race IMO.

Not that it seems to matter now.

At least we haven’t had the micro measuring of those bloody coloured offside lines. If you need to micro measure it’s not bleeding clear and chuffin’ obvious!!!!

Dunno I think England has some real quality players, Rashford and Sterling are world class IMO both would get a game for Scotland, anyone know if they have Scottish grannies?

Sterling faffs in front of goal and Rashford is the most overrated player of them all.
Foden could become something special but apart from him I really struggle

Rashford needs consistency to be considered world class - he's got a way to go for sure.
Sterling is nowhere near world class and I doubt ever will be.
All imho.

Agreed about foden.
I think grealish is also special and, despite his ponderous form, Kane is a proven, top class striker and also a very good footballer when he drops deep.

I think Southgate is a decent and intelligent guy but unnecessarily conservative. With what he has at his disposal he could let rip but instead chooses to play two defensive mids.
