"Fever" who do you think made the definitive version?

Grew up with Peggy Lee's version on the jukebox - still the best imho.
One of my better exercises in futility was going on the hunt for Julie London's version of Fever -this was really challenging since it turns out she never recorded that tune :)

Peggy Lee for me for sure

The Elvis version is v.cool though . One of only a handful of his songs I actually like.

Peggy's Lee's version is the tops most folk would say.

Pressler's version is pretty good too- one actual track one could listen to at a Hifi show- better than that plinky plonky garbage.:D

There are a number of good versions of this song.

From an audiophile sound perspective, on a decent system, "Fever" on the Elvis is Back Sessions puts you right in the room. The 4 CD boxset with the outtakes shows how good that musician line-up was. That 1960 recording technology is simply remarkable.
