Just a bit of fun...

BTW use this link if you’re minded to buy any of the titles from Amazon and it’ll support pfm - just search once there and as I understand it will count...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/browse....a87808d64173b08511fc3&camp=1634&creative=6738

For the next few hours please nominate - I’ll count up and put the top 10 into the choices tomorrow morning.

There are two 2020 / AOTY discussion threads, but I’d rather surf some simpler posts here, so please nominate your favorite THREE - otherwise the task becomes too laborious - any after the first three listed I’ll ignore :)

Votes will be publicly viewable, but only after you’ve voted yourself.

VOTES WON’T BE ABLE TO BE CHANGED, SO DONT VOTE UNTIL THE ACTUAL CHOICES ARE THERE :)

Nominations until Sunday 3rd Jan.

Poll will run for 11 days - closing on Sunday 10th around midday.

Just so many to chose from, but I’ll go for:

Nubya Garcia - Source
Shabaka And The Ancestors - We Are Sent Here By History
Sufjan Stevens - The Ascension

2020 has been such a great year for music it is seriously hard to narrow down to 20 let alone three. Just so much great stuff.

Really tough to narrow it down to three. It's been an exceptional year for music. There's been at least 20 excellent albums released this year.

Wilma Archer - A Western Circular
Jenny O - New Truth
Phoebe Bridges - Punisher

IDLES - Ultra Mono

A Certain Ratio - ACR LOCO

Mark Lanegan - Straight Songs Of Sorrow

not bought many this year, mainly RE's

Soulwax - EMS synthi 100
Tricky - Fall to pieces
Brubaker/cooper - Glassforms

Three is hard. At this exact minute in time ...

SAULT - Untitled (black is)
Tricky - Fall to Pieces
Ranil - Ranil y su Conjunto Tropical

With more than 400 albums purchased this year choosing is a little difficult :) In alphabetical order:

Christine and the Queens - La Vita Nuova
Myrkur - Folksange
Ols - Widma
Runahild - Astralseid
Sevdaliza - Shabrang
Sofia Portanet - Freier Geist
Sutari - Siostry Rzeki / River Sisters
Taylor Swift - Evermore
Taylor Swift - folklore

Most are available from Bandcamp and/or Qobuz, I prefer to limit my use of amazon.

If you only try one, try the track "Joanna" from the Sevdaliza album Shabrang
