How does the XS2 compare with other Naim amplifiers in regards to warmth/richness of sound.

Anyone knows, how are the xs2 and xs3

The MK 1 is more in your face and has even more PRaT and punch, the MK 2 is more refined.

I would choose depending on the music taste or what is important to you and for your type of music.

Hi all anybody tried a xs2 in the system ,thinking of purchasing one until I get my 250 sorted as that's a good few weeks away lol

I found the xs + Flatcap (neither of them the 2) tiring to listen to for more than about an hour, on vinyl, cd and internet radio. I've not heard the 2, but Old Shatterhand's post suggests that it's an improvement in that respect.
