Cds3 and cdps

Curious as too the cds3 can be powered by a cdps?
I’m asking as I’ve found out that’s what I have,

I considered doing this some years ago.
When I phoned Naim Service I was told that a CDS3 could be powered by a CDPS but required a different burndy to the one supplied with CDS3.

I think your spot on bill .... it has the black burndy instead of the grey
