I could say it baffles me why everyone else wouldn't see it this way too, but it doesn't, it's perfectly understandable, because so many have ended up so brainwashed by the comforting, binary good vs evil narrative pushed by the morally defunct criminals running the US that they see anyone who opposes or exposes or questions it as bad, and anyone who pushes it as good.

President Biden, until he's replaced by President Harris will make sure more money goes to the wealthy and less to everyone else, as all of the Presidents going back decades have, and as all the ones to come will, creating more and more hardship, until such time as enough people realise their country is being raped by the banks, corporations and M.I.C. while the mainstream media keeps them all entrenched, arguing amongst themselves which party, both of which are owned by the banks, corporations and M.I.C., is best.

Trump now following the Brazil model to climate disaster by enabling logging/destruction of key forests in Alaska (Guardian). The far-right’s utter contempt for science once again beggars belief. Nothing short of total destruction of the planet is enough for these utter morons.

I think some people like to feel that they are smarter than others and can see things that the rest of us don't see. Occam's razor doesn't enter their minds, and they tie themselves in mental knots in order to justify their utterly crazy decisions. Like voting for Trump over Hillary.

Revolution isn’t coming, not gonna happen — but Civil War is.

I never thought I would be willingly living in a community in a country openly at war with itself, but here we are. Whoever gets in is going to have to cope with a mainstream Q-Anon, but now with added GOP.
 
Perhaps the question suburbanites should be asking themselves is "Would I feel more afraid if my new neighbor was a leader of Black Lives Matter, or a leader of the Aryan Brotherhood/Proud Boys/Oath Keepers ?"

This is also my worry. Abraham Lincoln went to war on the grounds that "a house divided against itself cannot stand". 160 years later, the house is well and truly divided, and, with the best will in the world, I can't see Joe Biden putting Humpty Dumpty together again. In a way, we already have a "cold war" version of the Civil War/War of the States/War against Northern Aggression/War for Southern Independence. I hope it stays cold.

If this mess takes off it would settle into a guerrilla war with the cities struggling to get supplies in. Need to hope it doesn't take off.
