A now sadly deceased friend and colleague of mine, Martin Lickert represented Johnny Nash. Johnny and Bob Marley met a teacher from a school in Peckham after a west end gig. They went to what is now Peckham Academy and played for the kids the next day. This was featured on the recent Marley in UK BBC4 show.

Martin told me a few things about his rock and roll life, e.g. being Ringo's chauffeur, playing with the Mothers but I only became aware of the Nash / Marley link after he died when I saw one of the photos on the wall in the Academy when I took my daughters to a gymnastics class.
