Not sure what the chief H&S zealot at the local council would have to say about that lady parking her tentpoles and feet across the designated pedestrian walkway.

Is that she alright? She looks a bit stiff.
Is that a walkway? I thought it was marking out the scene of a bizarre cooking oil accident. It was a little cool and damp yesterday, she might be having trouble with her arthritis.
 
One from just under a year ago - this was about 6 weeks after I'd suffered a heart attack. Mrs G & I were staying at Ambleside Park which is about 5 mins walk from the very northernmost point of Lake Windermere. I woke up around 7am and walked down to the lakeside - there was utter silence. You know when you have one of those moments in life which feels made just for you? This was mine...
