New Doves Album!

I bought mine from their website. CD and Vinyl enjoyment in car and at home.

A long wait; eleven years actually! Well worth it!

Superb isn't it. Like all great albums it took about 3 or 4 listens for it to click but now it has I can't stop playing it.

I totally agree, Hugh! My neighbour came over and I introduced him to Doves in a Chronological Order.

He was hooked by their latest album and actually called to say he felt disappointed that HMV was closed (earlier than normal) so he'd have to wait until tomorrow!

It is an excellent album. The late Tony Allen was one of my favourite musicians; to have his drumming on the opening track was rather emotional, actually.

I hope they don't make us wait so long for the follow up!

Have you seen the online prices for Kingdom of Rust Vinyl?

I've just seen the price of Lost Souls! I think I've managed to listen to it twice.

I have their first 3 albums on vinyl, original pressings, think I paid £30 for all 3 when they came out. Not a bad investment.

I have Kingdom of Rust on CD unfortunately.
