TV Aerial Coax

The best cheap coax is the satellite feeder cable (often white colour), well screened and really low loss at UHF.
The freebie cables that got bundled with TVs and VCRs often don't have a screen at all, basically just two wires
 
Have used so-called satellite coax for TV and tuner for donkey's years; not cheap, of course, but much better. Still have a large roll in my loft for when and if I change my antennae. It's all been black, though.
