sticking power switch nap250

Went to turn on my amp this morning and the switch isn't working.
It's been sticky for a while, not popping out when pressed but now it's not turning on.
I have it open and it appears to all connect and work but still sticks.
Any clues on how to sort this out?
Cheers
in advance

Olive.
I have now managed to free it up but it wont switch on.
Swapped mains fuse and tried switching the iec fuse with the one in my hicap.
Still won't power up and neither will the hicap. HELP

I can only imagine that the fuse ratings are different and that trying the fuse from the hicap, the 250 has blown that one too.
Answers on a postcard?

If the 250 is a later one it needs a 5 amp anti surge fuse for 230v use, should be marked t5 ,t for time delay. it should give the rating on the rear panel.

Yeah, it says T5A. I've ordered some fuses from Cymbiosis so fingers crossed that's the issue.

We have all been there. The switch button can foul on the rim of the shroud causing it to stick in. unplug the amp from the mains and switch the 250 on and off about 50 times see what that does.
