If the record has a bar code it is pretty straightforward but you still have to look at the run outs on some as there are multiple versions.Wish I'd known that before giving myself a headache gazing at runout grooves.
Be in for a nice surprise if you have any collectible 90s vinyl.
This is the most ‘valuable’ one I’ve played so far...

The Discogs buyer may have got a bargain even at that price: https://www.popsike.com/Columbia-SA...complete-RAVEL-N-Mint-vinyl/263033866975.html
I think I'd be tempted to flog it and get the CD
It has a barcode scanner so pretty straightforward. A bit tricky with some older releases.
Yes, I use the the notes & ID’s to ensure I have the correct one.As previously mentioned, the barcode is often the same on many releases of the same album, but different issues etc. Check the matrices on records and cd. Nothing worse than selling something and finding out it is the wrong issue.
It is far from easy once you try and accurately grade sleeves and records, and the temptation is to think VG+ is NrMint... or VG is really VG+.
Attention to every detail is essential
