@snowflake , I still have a postcard that shares your avatar from when I visited the late, great Snowflake at Barcelona zoo. I also still have the original National Geographic edition that featured the story of his rescue when a baby, which prompted my visit to the zoo to see how he was getting on.

@mjw, sadly I never got the pleasure of going to have him throw dung at me, I was often working in Tarragona and had planned to get to Barcleona zoo, but frequent excesses from the night before got in the way of the weekend travel plans.

Sadly this was around the time he shuffled of the mortal coil.

PS - I was a fat bloke with bleached hair at the time, hence the choice, the staff in the (Tarragona) office were dumbfounded when I turned up......whereas now I am just a fat bloke....with grey hair
