Head phone recommendations please & head phone amp

I would go for the Senns and Rega Ear if you don’t like them just move them along at no loss.
Have listened to plenty of very expensive headphones and amps but pretty happy with HD650s and a Modified Bottlehead Crack. I also use a Millet Bute Amp which I put together which is a very good amp for not a lot of money.

It's a bit tricky with all the shops closed, but when I was looking for some headphones for mixing I spent a long time asking about them in forums but ultimately the best thing was going down and trying as many out as I could. Some felt too big, too heavy, didn't sound right even they they had been recommended... In the end I got a pair of Sony MDR 7506 and I love them. £90 at the time from Studio Spares.

If you can't wait till the shops open, maybe buy them from somewhere with free returns, like thomann. I'm not sure how many pairs you could get through before they cottoned on...
