Amazon HD exclusive mode

I got a software update on my free introductory offer yesterday. And it now has exclusive mode on W10. It may be just me, but it does sound better now. It should now be bit perfect, so I guess that that is what it is.

I don't like Amazon, for all the normal reasons, but they do have much more of the music that I want to listen to than Qobuz and Tidal put together. So this may push me into subscribing. And no MQA!

The Amazon app under Windows 10 then USB out to DAC.

That is interesting. The lack of an exclusive mode, along with noise issues, that I don't have with Tidal or Qobuz caused me to cancel. I may give it another try.

Nor ASIO. Set it in shared mode for say 16/44 if that's what you play most of the time.

I've just done some tests, and no, it isn't wasapi. What have they done? Anyway, I've just cancelled my subscription that was up for renewal on Saturday. Thanks!
