Best phono mm

Thanks to all.
I'm trying the Slee Accession M and I find it, with 100pF of capacitance, more complete than Stageline.
If that is the right capacitance for my cartridge could the Tron Convergence MM be good for my cartridge?
Is the output (6,5 mV at 5cm/s) too much for the Convergence?
Vincenzo

Lots of options to choose from, but it would help if we had a bit more information
  • your budget
  • do you see this as an upgrade, or are you looking for your definitive phono stage
  • preference for valve or s/s
  • do you want the ability to alter loading & capacitance, or would you prefer to minimise the number of contacts/switches, which might potentially degrade the signal by a small amount
Valve options include Croft, TRON Convergence, EAR at cheaper sub £1.5k end to Einstein, Audio Research, TRON Seven, LAMM etc at the high end.
SS options include Graham Slee, Rega, Trilogy 907, Parasound Halo, and the LCR stages like the Aurorasound Vida

Yes EAR 834p is excellent. You might also try Google and enter Thorhauge intersection mm riaa. It is a mm tube stage, handbuilt in Denmark.
