Hi guys
I have an A&K120ii that’s in need of a new battery. Mine is draining after c.3-4 hours of use and even drains completely from full if switched off for a day or so.
Has anyone any experience or know someone who would be able to do it? Rather than send it back to the service centre in Germany and wait weeks on it coming back....if it ever does as Brexit is round the corner :p

Cheers Misterdog. Saw that but if I tried that it’d be an ice cream maker by the time my ham fists had finished with it....:rolleyes:
 
Might be worth calling/emailing AK to see how long they'd take. If there's a Brexit risk to getting it back, I can "lend" you an address in Germany and bring it back for you.
I found one account of someone getting it back - post battery replacement - inside 5 days (only one account tho).

Alternatively, sounds like an excuse for a new dap!
 
10 minute job looking at the Google video, surely someone can do it locally.
Have you asked any UK dealers ?
 
No I was just thinking about it over the weekend. I’m in NI and no dealers here so going to try the phone repair guys they should be grand with it. Would be handy to know the type of battery first...
