Erland cooper - mirk.

Heard it on 6 music the other day and had to give it a play on my system at home.

Wow, electronics that’s complex and really gives your system a test.

Miles Davis - Live at Nice Festival. 1986. This came with Tutu which is very synth heavy and not really to my taste, whereas the live record has very little and a big improvement to my ears. ~Not bad indeed for live, sq wise.

Leftfield - Rhythm and Stealth. Sounds excellent after a deep proper clean on the RCM. When I first acquired this I only had one of those things you manually revolve and thought the recording was crap.

This is one exceptional album. Bartlett’s piano (and the recording of it) is mesmerising and the songs certainly shed their clothes well.

To accompany me on a drive today, I had chance to listen to the 5.1 surround mixes of:

Mike Oldfield - Five Miles Out
Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii
