I have just acquired a Quad FM3 Tuner.
Sitting listening to Radio 3 using my recently acquired Falcon
Acoustics LS3/5as I am in Audio Heaven.

What more do you need ?

I'm feeling increasingly miffed, as I have still never heard a pair of real LS3/5A's! The closest thing I have is JR149's.

I did build a pair of LS3/5A's a few years ago using birch cabinets from John Fuller, Falcon 23aB crossovers and SP1003 B110s and SP1032 T27 tweeters from a pair of KEF Concertos I had stripped, but I was not impressed with the result (there was a very audible suck-out in the mids to my ears).

I'd love to hear a proper pair one of these days...
