eBay uk site down

Just a little heads up that anyone trying to access the bay today may be out of luck. It looks like the uk site is down & will be for much of the day.

Weird!
I cant get onto it on my iphone or mac. I took a look at the "site down detector" & the whole of the UK is under a big red blob with loads of comments about not being able to access eBay.
Something must be going on, but sorry to alarm you unnecessarily.

It's being reported as only impacting certain parts of the UK.

I wonder if it's particular ISPs - i.e. it's a routing snafu.

The problem is 'my ebay', the main site works fine. That being said it seems to be back up for me now.

For me, its available one minute & down the next.
Maybe it is a regional thing.
I just thought I'd give people here a heads up in case they were finishing a transaction today. Seems like I may have been a bit over-pessimistic.
