Nektar axe man dies. RIP Roye Albrighton.

Blimey ... he lived in a village not far from me called Gnosall some 4 miles from my abode !

Very sad indeed !
 
Sad news - had been catching up with some of Nektar recently and had even hoped to possibly catch them live.
 
They had some great albums.

I was fortunate enough to pick up a Roland JV-880 synth of his which the family were selling off on ebay recently; they told me "it is likely that he used it on recording for Book of Days, Evolution and Time Machine".
