Roksan Xerxes MK I

Found the box !

They are identical to the original Roksan ones, bar the thread will need cutting down one end , and a slot put in it for adjustment (easy enough with a hacksaw)

£10 each + P+P if anyone wants some............

Just got my deck out the loft, as going to sell it.

Did anyone find a source for the rubber grommets ?

Mine are pretty knackered.........

I've got plenty of the blobs, its the rubber washer/grommet bit that sits on the top i'm after........

Has anyone replaced the ceramic resistors in the p/s with higher wattage ones ?

100 degrees c seems a tad warm to me !

What version is yours? I have scans of the service manuals for MK1 and MK2.
There are some mods to do on the MK1 to help it last longer.

Pete

XPS1

BD140 to TIP32C and cap mods done.

It works fine, but one of the 11w 330r resistors is falling apart, so needs replacing.

Will replace with some 17w ones I think.

No, they are flat, but the heatsinks are better then in an earlier version I had.No scorching on the pcb either.

Have you got the service manuals that are on The Vinyl Engine, or something different Pete ?

I haven't seen the vinyl engine ones, mine came straight from Roksan.

Pm me with your email address if you want them.

Pete

Sorry, i've only got a couple of sets left, which i'm going to keep, incase I buy another Xerxes at some point.
