Managed to book an audition of the confidence 20 for this Saturday -RESULT. The shop is called the audio room and they have branch in Leeds. They are family run business and kindly accommodate to my requirements ,can't wait!

I've asked about the speakers, but not about auditioning them. I found a shop not far from me yesterday who carry dynaudios ,will ring them today to check if they can provide a demo of confidence 20

I have never seen confidence 20 for less than £6000

Thank you rag987 Unfortunately living in West Yorkshire we're too far apart but thanks for your offer of auditioning them. Wondering if you have auditioned any other speakers at the same time,or anywhere compared with your confidence? Sopra 1, reference 1, focal electra ?

Welcome to all forum members, especially the ones who own the speakers in title (DYNAUDIO CONFIDENCE 20) and willing help to provide audition of these to another pfm member (MYSELF) . As I couldn't find a solution to my little problem to audition the above speakers not having a dealer near me...

Would you be able to describe their sound signature? Is it warm and lush ? I don't mind a neutral with a little bit warmth on the midrange, but don't like too warm sounding speakers like the dynaudio contour 30i . If confidence 20 is similar to contour 30i then they're probably not for me....

As I can get confidence 20 for not much more than heritage special it doesn't make sense to me. Also the hs has a rear bass port ,compared to confidence bottom port they'll be more difficult in my room.

These looking awesome but too expensive for me at this moment of time. Also think they're designed for larger rooms...

I think I'll probably take a chance with Dynaudio Confidence 20 because I'm very tempted 🙂
