There are toggle switches on the back of the DAC64, they are not labelled on the unit, just in the instruction manual. Make sure the correct digital input is selected.

Have you changed the Digital output to PCM in the TV sound settings? Most cinema products are factory set for multi channel, this causes some very weird effects if fed into a stereo DAC. Apologies if you have already done this.

How are you connecting the TV to your amplifier - is it an analogue or digital connection?
