I haven't purchased one yet, but I'm thinking about one of these to replace my Quadraspire SV2T

Hi
I recently got the Gaia III for my Audiovector speakers and they made a good improvement to clarity and bass definition. I did manage to find second hand sets I would recommend them. You probably could arrange a home demo to see how they work with your speakers.

Hi Ian
Would love to attend, as I've listened to your Living Voice, Meitner, Octave set up before. Would be really interested in hearing your selection of dac's as I'm on the hunt for one. In terms of kit I have a Class A integrated I could bring and possibly some Proac R30's.
Cheers
Jon
Hi David
Salk have a number of floorstanders in the $3500 to $4500 price range which specs wise look relatively similar, hence its not clear of the differences. I'm looking for new floorstanders for my new house, which will have a listening room of 22x15.
Yes it would be really helpful if you...
Hi David
They certainly look interesting and great value for money. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Song3, when they arrive. The Silk Towers also look interesting, is there an option of the Accuton woofer with them?
Amphion Krypton 3. I heard the Krytpon 2 many years ago and I have always wanted a pair ever since. How about the Audiovector SR6, which are meant to work really well with Naim gear!
What about the new sotm sms-200 which has been getting very good reviews. You can plug in a external HD, connect to the network and control it via a tablet/phone etc. It's Roon ready and you can stream Tidal through the web browser interface. I think the RRP is around £450. I will be looking at...
How much space do they need around them? I've always like Proac's since I heard the Future range many years ago. What were the main differences between the D20R and D30R?
Thanks for your impressions of the C1 and C2. My thoughts on hearing the C1 were they were better balanced that my S25's. The S25's do produce a lot of bass for the size of the speaker. Maybe in my bigger living room as bass will be less domineering? I ask Merlin thanks for the tip.
Anyone got...
I think my amp has enough current for the Dyns, especially if the C2's are easier to drive than my S25's. I much prefer my S25's without the bungs so I would like to avoid having to use them with C2's. I recently heard the C1's and I thought they were really good, however they were being driven...
I should be able have them up to 2ft from the rear wall and around 7-8ft apart. Music wise it will be a mixture of pop, rock, electronic, acoustic and classical. Actives are an attractive idea however they are often designed to studio's and don't look great in a living room. The ATC 50's are a...
