Mine looks the same way and it works fine at 1.4g. I remember I had to fine-tune anti-skating.
As food for thought, does it tend to jump towards the start or the end of the record?
What if I paid more than GBP400 for development? I paid additional GBP200 for ADC/Phono stage dev. if I recall correctly. Can the rest be used to pay the DevDACII or a future ADC/Phono stage module?
Nothing changed in the BIOS for years. But I remember now that since last week I had to turn on the MDAC twice to make it work on USB2 port (not the issue with sampling rate). No such issue on USB3 port.
The motherboard is 7 years old so it might be its last hurrah.
Good thinking. It works fine on another computer
Going back to the main computer, it looks like a software issue because now the MDAC works fine only with USB3(xHCI) ports.
I have the same issue with all USB2 ports.
Today, the MDAC is silent while I can still control the volume from Windows.
Foobar complains about 'Unrecoverable playback error: Unknown Error code (0x80070001)'.
I notice there is no 16-bits format available anymore (only 24 bits), but I think it's been that way for a while.
I tried...
It was my understanding that the first the version of the MDAC2 would be with x4 DAC + streamer and then later on other cheaper versions (including a Dacapo variant) that don't need the streamer would be released at some point.
