    The Spendor BC1

I am a big fan of the old Dittons, the little Ditton 10s and 11s can give LS35As a proper licking in some respects, and for a fraction of the cost. But then i never quite got the elevated price of LS35As. I remember the first time i hooked up the tiny little Ditton 10s and put some AC/DC on the...

    NA323E Specification

Hi, I had some factory made R spec boards which were i believe pretty much identical to E spec boards ..the gain changes were done on the first stage as you point out. I used the R cards with a 1.6mV DL110 and found them pretty much a perfect match gain wise as is...

I dont go for the relic look myself, most are totaly over the top. On the subject of Fender Custom Shop quality over the std stuff, i can only speak for the one i have, but my CS NOS strat is way above my 62 vintage reissue, in every area i can think of. Ok the Viintage reissue could be...

I will have to give another thumbs up for Fender Custom shop guitars. I had a team built strat made to my spec, 10 months wait...but worth every penny, even allowing for import dutys into the Uk. Head and shoulders above the stock models and vintage reissues.

    Recommended Bench PSU

By dual rail, do you mean two 0V/+24V dc supplys like a Hicap? if so, then yes.

Ryan Sound Lab Naim Preamp Plug-Ins Loaner Set

My initial order from Kit arrived a couple of days ago, comprising the Z100 mc boards, and Z200 Line output cards. As already stated, superbly presented, and top quality workmanship. very quick too, arrived in around 7 days. I will add at this point that i have placed another order for some...

    Recommended Bench PSU

I have been useing a Thurlby dual bench supply, 0-30Vx2 but only 2A, its proved reliable and quiet. The dual supply is handy, i can run it dual rail 2x 0-30V, or in serise 0-60V, or split supply -30-0 +30. Current limiting and monitering is also handy. Surprisingly it actually sounds a little...

I like to keep my most expensive guitars in there cases, but they come out daily. Heres one that sadly got away, a pretty rare Gibson Explorer Bass with ebony board, it sounded fantastic, i really regret letting this one go.

    TeddyReg/NAIM phono amp - Part 2

Someone mentioned the Heed phono stage, not sure about the mm/mc version, but interestingly the Heed mc only Questar, is about as close to Naim 323 topology wise as your going to get, though tonally it sounds very different, due to its slightly down tillted RIAA response. Even so the signature...

Naim Na323/5 boards conversion to 400uV R spec

Hi, Just pulled my Naim NA 323/5 E boards from my Nac 32.5, these are the Medium output 400uV cards with the same 5 transistor input circuit as the standard 100uV NA323 S and K cards. I have read that conversion from 100uV to 400uV, is simply a matter of increasing the value of R13, the 220R...
