Hi Garry, The DDDAC's chipset (BB 1794) is the same type as used in the Young Dac (BB 1795) that you did not like, so you might want to listen to the DDDAC first. I had the same experience with the BB/TI 179* chipsets sound, that of hard/harsh high frequencies which a well sorted Sabre 9018... -
