In any case, poor practice in my view not to honour the regular (statutory?) warranty when the product changes the owner. Decent companies like Chord and Naim don’t make a fuzz here and allow the transfer of their regular warranty, and tell their dealers to comply with their standards.

I can’t imagine they are compliant with their legal obligations according to the The Consumer Rights Act of 2015. Maybe we have a lawyer here who could ship in? In any case, these are probably companies one should avoid in the future…

Unfortunately, that one cannot be transferred to the second owner.

A dealer has these (with minor cosmetic issues) priced at £1,799. So, Tim’s asking price can indeed be considered rather low. Certainly, I wouldn’t sell off my oak 25.23 for £1,300 — they are far too good for that price…

Agree with @Amber Audio — much more sensible to invest in an external DAC for a significant sound quality upgrade.

With a Naim system, that sounds like a no-brainer to me. If the Naim DAC doesn’t appeal, it gets moved on…
