Hey all, sorry wasn’t following this. I did nothing unusual and don’t use the Dac all that often. It was on for around 5 minutes and started smoking. It was still on and working. I took it apart quickly to check for fire whilst still smoking. I know how to plug in a Dac so not user error. No...

Not left on. I turned it on and a few minutes later large amounts of smoke.

Just a warning for those of you with a soncoz sgd1. Turned it on, then a burning smell and loads of smoke. Be careful leaving yours on. Now need a repair. Cheers Tim
