Hey all,
I need to cut a hole for an iec inlet, the metal case I have is very thick. What’s the best way to do this? (even if using a company). The case isn’t built so it’s still as a standalone sheet.
Thanks Tim
Thanks v much. The brand and model number are exactly the same just the specs provided differ. I wasn’t clear what the different rating would do, run fast or slow or just be the same. These are the only differences…
Mine are rated: 4/5w 50/50 MA
The ones I can get are rated: 10/8w 130/100 MA...
I have some old fans in my amps that are the same model as below…

You can see the specs on the fan if interested.

Given the limited space I have to put a 50hz trap behind my speakers I have finally found something that may work. Problem is I don’t understand the technical read outs! Will this work?
Thanks Tim
Hey all, sorry wasn’t following this.
I did nothing unusual and don’t use the Dac all that often. It was on for around 5 minutes and started smoking. It was still on and working. I took it apart quickly to check for fire whilst still smoking. I know how to plug in a Dac so not user error. No...
Just a warning for those of you with a soncoz sgd1. Turned it on, then a burning smell and loads of smoke. Be careful leaving yours on. Now need a repair.
Cheers Tim
