    Your loudspeaker history...?

Boring, but: some shitty kit speakers sold by the local hi-fi shysters to my idiot 17 year-old self (they used SEAS drivers) ITT 8070s (compact bookshelf, much lauded by the Haymarket press as the replacement for the Videoton MiniMax, but quite difficult to get hold of)… Linn Kans Linn SARAS...

    Naim olive knob parts (available)

Thanks, booja — It went like that while printing... I've printed other small parts at 0.06 before, no problems. The wall thickness was 2mm. Thanks for the offer of the .stl, I'll PM you with an email address.

    Naim olive knob parts (available)

Resurrecting this... booja, what printer and settings did you use for the CB knob? I used a Wanhao i3 (no Z-brace) at 0.06mm with PLA and the results were absolute gash (although I was pleased with the model)...

    Linn LP12 Dual Output

Bit of a stretch maybe, but... I’ve got an LP12 with a Prefix and I was wondering if it were possible to tap off the arm leads before they enter the Prefix to provide an additional standard Phono output. This could then be used with the MC Phono card on my (soon-to-be RSLed) NAC 32.5 — or even...

How often do you look at pfm?

Every year or so, but may be frequenting a bit more over the next few months... (System out of storage, upgrade options, set-up, etc...)

Just Had Some Linn SARA Replacement Grilles Made...

Well, I've got active Isobariks (3xNAP 250) so these are really spares, although I'd like to hear them on the end of a pair of NAP 125s (2xNAP 250s driven on one channel only), just to see what they can do with a bit more oomph. All academic really, since everything's in storage at the moment...

Just Had Some Linn SARA Replacement Grilles Made...

Cheers, all... Actually, davidf, they're teak, it's just that the facing trim around the edge has gone really dark with age. NAC 32/SNAPS/NAP 250 is what I used as well...

Just Had Some Linn SARA Replacement Grilles Made...

They're not exact copies, but are very nice, and far nicer than flat foams, IMO... They cost £39.95. He seems willing to make most types. In fact, he's working on some Isobarik grilles for me (no pricing yet). He's itsmarkie on eBay...

Not my set-up, though, Mr Click... belongs to the gentleman who did the conversion for me...

So, here are mine: Here they are (veneered baffle) being driven by an impressive amount of kit: Here's a better schematic of the wiring: As you can see, I had mine done so that they would be easily convertible between passive and active operation. This, of course, meant...
