One Channel not working through Rega Aria Mk3

I have had the same thing happen to me twice: With an RP8/Ania into an Aria Mk2. It was a faulty Ania cartridge, one channel had died. It was replaced by Rega no question asked. And with a P8/Apheta2 into an Aria Mk3. It was static build-up in the cartridge caused by my using a Furutech ASB-1...

    New Rega Speakers - Aya

How would you define the bass capabilities of the RS7 and how would they compare to the Aya's? Just curious since I have RS7.

    Hi Fi shop in Spain.

Supersonido? https://www.supersonido.es/ I bought a reduced-price Rega Apollo-R about 10 years ago and they shipped to Belgium without problem. They have some interesting outlet offers on discontinued products.

    Bristol Show 2024

Certainly will be Osiris territory (which I guess would now be discontinued?) => £7,500. The possibility to add either pre or power to an Elicit or Aethos integrated would also be tempting... Nd7: around £450 according to Kristoffer's picture.

Also loadsa info over Harbeth's forthcoming loudspeakers there https://www.harbeth.co.uk/usergroup/threads/the-bristol-hifi-show-february-2024.80820/page-3#post-110475 (require registering).

    Bristol Show 2024

On Rega's 'X' feed, a few pictures of some prototypes (Nd7 MM cartridge, and a pre/power amp combo (Mercury/Solis?)

Let’s hear it for Rega gear

As far as I know, all versions of the Apollo and Saturn share the same CD mech, so if they can still build the Saturn Mk3, they can still repair all Apollos and Saturns. No mech available for Planets and Jupiters (1997-2003).

    What Turntables Do You Own?

I only have five. I voted Rega (RP40, RP8, P8), but I also have a Sanyo TP-1020 (my father's, bought in 1978) and a Project Debut II (my first own turntable, bought in 1998 when I started buying records at the age of 25 - never stopped since).

    Bristol Show 2024

Harbeth will have five demo rooms. One with Nelson and one showcasing their new NLE-3 3-way studio monitor. I think it is an active, DSP enabled loudspeaker, said (by them) to be 'revolutionary'. https://www.harbeth.co.uk/usergroup/threads/the-bristol-hifi-show-february-2024.80820/

    Tweaks for Rega decks?

@JTC If, like mine, your P8 came with the Apheta 2, I would hazard a guess it is one of the early ones too, that came fitted with the standard 'advanced' EBLT drive belt because the upgraded reference EBLT was not yet available. If so, this would be an easy tweak (and cheap). I haven't made the...

    Tweaks for Rega decks?

Rega P8/Apheta 2/wallshelf owner too here (into Aria Mk3). I don't think I would change anything. Maybe try an Apheta 3 when the time has come? And I sometimes wonder how the P8 would sound with an RB2000 or RB3000, but I guess going the P10 route would be easier.

    The Sound burger is back.....

I have been using this ultrasonic stylus cleaner for years and have nothing to complain about: https://blog.audiot.co.uk/blog/2015/9/22/remember-the-audio-technica-at-637-stylus-cleaner.html I would not know how they compare, though.

Speakers - use of "off the shelf" drivers

The irony in the context of this thread is that they do use their own loudspeaker drivers, though. But do they manufacture them in house?

    Rega Elex-R "pre-amp/amp" switch?

    This one is an Elicit-R.

    Signs of the times (audio)

Although it looks like it, this is no Rega arm but a cheap Chinese copy => https://www.rega.co.uk/news/item/imitation-the-highest-form-of-flattery
