    DACs with PCM63 chips??

Understood. Would be grateful for any link to a good I/V project for which I could still find components for such an old dac, oversampling. My dac has the Yamaha receiver and DF1700P before the pair of PCM63K. The transformer option "sounds" a bit expensive... starting at 170EUR/pair

    DACs with PCM63 chips??

From the datasheet of the pcm63: "To guarantee that each 100kΩ potentiometer would be set to the correct starting or null point (no current into or out of the MSB adjust pins), the voltage drop across each corresponding 330kΩ resistor would have to measure 0V. A voltage drop of ±1.25mV across...

    DACs with PCM63 chips??

Thank you all, subscribed to the thread and looking for decent 100K pots on mouser

    DACs with PCM63 chips??

So, I definitely have to solder a couple of potentiometers and 330KOhm resistors according to Burr-Brown schema, play a disc with that signal and listen! Thank you

Thank you Mike, I'm going to read the thread! Stefano

    DACs with PCM63 chips??

I just googled for it, JP-V or JP-I? The JP-I should be a Iout like the PMC-63. I'm also interested in a good discrete I-V project to get rid of the two op-amps now performing the conversion on my dac (a Monarchy M22B)

    DACs with PCM63 chips??

Hi, I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but @martin clark could you kindly suggest a couple of soundcards/related sw and steps for the dumb (myself) in order to perform the adjustment? I happen to have a pcm63 based dac and I see on the board no potentiometers, so I might add them and try...

DIY Speaker Isolators for Wooden Floors

Hi, I bet that the resonance frequency provided by the system made of two granite boards and half balls is on the highish side. I mean, I think that the benefit of the inner tube is to let you achieve around 3-4Hz, well far from the audio band. I'm searching around, but I struggle to find spring...

DIY Speaker Isolators for Wooden Floors

Hi all, I'm going to resume an old thread because I found very easy to appreciate real time graphs of the tiniest vibrations affecting the systems with seismographic mobile apps, (e.g. look for hamm seismograph on google play and - disclaimer - I'm not affiliated with them). I did it this...
