Get a planet radio premium subscription for £3.99 a month and there’s dozens of stations available, most ad free. There’s a good selection of absolute radio stations depending on your mood.

I had a basic LP12 around 15 years ago and really enjoyed it, it had to go to to raise some cash and a few years later I ended up with a Clearaudio Emotion, which I found to be better in every way you would want it to be.

I had the PTVs for a while and they are a fantastic speaker, weighty and crystal clear.

I keep a CD player because some albums aren’t on Qobuz.

I’m very happy with how it sounds now so if it’s just a matter of SQ then I’ll stay as I am, but if there could possibly be an issue with damaging the equipment I’d make the change.
